Jerry Zhao FCPA

Founder & Managing Director

Jerry founded Leader Accountancy in 2011 with a clear belief: accounting should help business owners make better decisions — not just meet compliance obligations.

From a single-client practice, the firm has grown to serve hundreds of businesses across diverse industries, supporting owners through growth, complexity, and change.

Jerry has been actively involved in the profession, serving on CPA Australia’s Public Practice Committee (QLD) and chairing the committee in 2019. He is also a contracted trainer for CPA Australia’s Public Practice workshops and was recognised as a finalist in the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Awards (Young Businessperson of the Year).

Jerry is the lead advisor for Leader Accountancy’s Better Business program and the developer of the Four Bucket Framework™ — a practical model designed to help clients understand complex tax, business, and wealth decisions in a clear, structured way.

His expertise spans:

Dylan Zhong CPA

Business Advisory Manager

Dylan has been with Leader Accountancy since 2012, progressing from graduate to advisory lead. Over more than a decade, he has built deep technical expertise alongside a reputation for calm, patient, and practical client engagement.

His ability to translate complex accounting concepts into clear, understandable insights makes him a trusted advisor to both business owners and internal team members.

In addition to client advisory work, Dylan plays a critical internal role as Leader Accountancy’s internal trainer.

Rachel Ren CPA

Business Service Manager

Rachel initially join Leader Accountancy in 2013, then rejoined Leader Accountancy in 2023, bringing with her broader commercial and technical experience gained during four years with a second-tier accounting firm in the Brisbane CBD.

Rachel has managed client groups with combined turnovers exceeding $100 million, supporting businesses through:

• Complex group financial reporting

• Developed long term tax planning strategy

• Cash flow management

• Operational and accounting structure reviews

Rachel is known for her precision, reliability, and ability to manage complexity without losing sight of commercial realities. She plays a key role in ensuring our clients receive accurate, timely, and practical financial outcomes as their businesses scale.

Yolanda Li CPA

Practice Manager

Yolanda joined Leader Accountancy in 2015 and has grown with the firm through multiple stages of its development. She began in hands-on accounting roles before moving into practice management in 2021, bringing with her strong technical accounting knowledge and a deep understanding of how an accounting practice operates in reality.

Her background allows her to bridge the gap between technical work and operational execution — ensuring processes are not only compliant, but efficient, scalable, and practical.

Yolanda has played a key role in:

• Developing and implementing new internal procedures to improve efficiency and consistency

• Managing workflow planning and resource allocation across the firm

• Supporting complex business transactions and restructuring projects

• Assisting with business due diligence engagements

• Contributing to Odoo implementation and system optimisation

• Supporting international tax and cross-border matters
